There are some people in this world who make it a better place and Grandad Tony was one of those people.

He was one of the most amazing and wonderful people we had the pleasure of knowing.  We are so proud to say we are related to him.

How can we even begin to put into words what it was like to have him as our Grandad?

He was always there for us whenever we needed him, offering us advice and a hug.  Even his smile would cheer us up instantly – in fact it would light up the room.

We have so many wonderful memories with our Grandad that we will never forget.

We often went there for sleepovers on weekends and he treat us like royalty.  He was always so happy fussing over us with picnics, hot water bottles in bed and fleecy blankets.  The only thing he moaned about was our choice in tv channel as he preferred the history channel.

We admire his strength, even though he was so poorly towards the end.  He never once complained and never once stopped smiling.

A few words to describe our Grandad – selfless, caring, loving, one of a kind.  He had the biggest heart and loved his family very much.

A massive part of our lives and heart has gone.  Although, he is now at peace, words cannot express how much he will be missed.

We appreciate everything he has done for us over the years.
